Niels Winther is founded in Esbjerg, Denmark, as an authorised shipbroker and shipowner. Over the years, the company also becomes a leading player in liner agency at the Port of Esbjerg.
1997
Niels Winther is appointed port agent and commercial representative of Grimaldi Group in Denmark.
1998
The first ever Grimaldi vessel calls at the Port of Esbjerg.
1999
Grimaldi partners with Niels Winther and GEFCO to establish the company Scandinavian Auto Logistics with a dedicated car terminal at the Port of Esbjerg.
2018
